1. Information you give us

When you send a service request through the form on our site, you provide details such as your name, business name, phone number, email address, service address and a description of the problem. When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us. We use this information to respond to you, schedule and perform service, send estimates and invoices, and keep service records for your equipment.

Our service request form is provided by Housecall Pro, the scheduling and invoicing software we use. Information you enter in that form is sent to Housecall Pro and stored in our account there. Housecall Pro's own privacy policy also applies to that information.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site (for example, from a search or an ad), and actions such as clicking our phone number or submitting the form.

We use these services, loaded through Google Tag Manager:

• Google Analytics and Google Ads (site analytics and ad measurement)
• Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Clarity (ad measurement, and recordings of how visitors use pages so we can improve them)
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Reddit and OpenAI advertising tags (ad measurement)

We may use call-tracking technology to measure which ads and pages lead to calls.

3. How we use information

• To respond to service requests, calls and texts, and to provide the service you ask for
• To bill for work and keep service records
• To understand which pages, searches and ads bring customers to us, and to improve the site
• To show our ads to people who have visited our site
• To send marketing text messages to people who have opted in to receive them (see section 6)

4. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact details with other businesses for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run our business, or when the law requires it.

5. Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
• You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
• Google Analytics offers a browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted (except records we must keep for billing, tax or warranty reasons), contact us below.

6. Text messages

If you text us, we reply about your service request. We send marketing and promotional text messages only to people who have opted in, for example by checking the box on our service request form. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not required to get service. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.

7. How long we keep information

We keep service and billing records for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.

8. Security

We use reputable providers and limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do the work. No website or system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card numbers through the service request form.

9. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
