A walk-in is only as good as the refrigeration system on it. We install condensing units and evaporators matched to the box, run and evacuate the refrigerant piping, and set up defrost and temperature controls so the box holds temperature through a busy service. If your existing system is struggling, start with walk-in cooler repair or walk-in freezer repair.

Common questions about commercial equipment installation and replacement
Rooftop units (RTUs), walk-in cooler and freezer refrigeration systems including condensing units and evaporators, reach-in refrigerators and freezers, ice machines, and make-up air units for commercial kitchens. We work with restaurants, bars, grocery and convenience stores, breweries, schools, churches, offices and warehouses.
For RTUs we look at the space, occupancy, kitchen and equipment heat loads, and how the existing unit has performed. For walk-ins we look at box size, insulation, target temperature, how often the door is opened, and how much warm product goes in. Oversized or undersized equipment both cause problems, so we size to the actual load.
We plan replacements around your hours wherever possible, coordinate equipment delivery and any crane lift ahead of time, and walk you through the schedule before work starts. For walk-ins, we'll talk through options for keeping product cold during the changeover.
We'll diagnose the existing equipment first. If a repair makes sense, we'll tell you. If the unit is aging, failing repeatedly, or the repair cost is close to replacement, we'll lay out both options so you can decide based on cost and downtime.
