“I used them in a bit of a hurry situation with some specialty equipment. They knocked it out of the park! Professional, fair price, and prompt service. Would recommend and use again.”

A loose connection, a failing contactor or a worn wire can take down a walk-in or an RTU in the middle of service. We trace the failure to its cause and check the rest of the electrical and control circuit so the same problem doesn't put you down again next week.
We diagnose and repair the failures that shut down kitchens, bars and stores, from walk-in coolers that won't hold temperature to ice machines that have stopped producing.
A slow refrigerant leak shows up as a walk-in, reach-in or RTU that gradually loses capacity until it can't keep up. Topping off the charge without finding the leak just puts you back in the same spot. We use electronic leak detectors and bubble solution to find where the system is losing charge, then repair it.

Find the specific service you need, from walk-in freezer repair to rooftop unit repair.
Fewer emergencies start with scheduled care. Ask about commercial preventive maintenance for your refrigeration, ice machines and rooftop units.
We answer 24/7, with priority dispatch for refrigeration-down calls and walk-in failures, and 2-hour emergency response.
Refrigeration, ice machines, RTUs and kitchen equipment are our everyday work, not a side line.
We diagnose the actual failure and explain your options, including when replacement makes more sense than repair.
Response times can vary with location, weather and call volume.

Common questions about commercial refrigeration and HVAC repair
Yes. We answer 24/7, and refrigeration-down calls get priority dispatch: walk-in coolers or freezers that won't hold temperature, reach-ins that have warmed up, and ice machines that have stopped making ice. We offer 2-hour emergency response: we aim to have a technician on-site within 2 hours for emergency calls. Response times can vary with location, weather and call volume. Call (208) 477-1897 any time, day or night.
Keep the door closed as much as possible and check that it is sealing fully. Look at the evaporator inside the box: if it is a solid block of ice, the unit may be stuck out of defrost or have an airflow problem. Check whether the condensing unit outside or on the roof is running. Start a written temperature log and move high-risk product to another cooler if the box is climbing. Then call us with what you saw.
Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in refrigerators and freezers, prep tables, display cases, ice machines, rooftop units (RTUs) and other commercial HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, and restaurant hoods and make-up air units. Brands we commonly service include True, Atosa, Turbo Air, Beverage-Air, Traulsen, Continental, Falcon and Avantco refrigeration; Kolpak and Norlake walk-ins with Heatcraft and Copeland condensing units; Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman and Ice-O-Matic ice machines; Hobart and Vulcan kitchen equipment; CaptiveAire hoods; and AAON, Daikin Applied and McQuay rooftop and applied equipment. When you call, give us the make, model and what the equipment is doing so we can come prepared.
It depends on the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair compared to replacement, how often it has failed, and what downtime is costing you. We'll diagnose the actual failure, give you the repair option, and tell you plainly if replacement makes more sense so you can decide.
